Cierra Eubank

I'm Cierra Eubank and I'm a multimedia journalist at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Photography and videography bring my passions and stories to life. I've shot photos on the court of Phoenix Suns games next to Fox News professionals, I've camped out in dugouts and taken photos at the Milwaukee Brewers' Spring training games, and also worked as a photographer for The State Press, ASU's newspaper. I create and edit video packages. For example, I covered the 9/11 healing field in Tempe, AZ. Right now I have an internship with the PAC-12 network and I have worked side by side with the production professionals. I worked for PBS, channel 8, for a couple years as part of the production crew and I was trained on many positions such as teleprompter, floor manager and graphics. I used to rely on my writing to tell my stories, but I quickly discovered the power behind photography and videography, and how they bring the stories and people to life. Everything I do prepares me for becoming the best multimedia journalist I can be. Live life on the edge!

Shine Salt

Hello! My name is Shine Krystal Salt. I’m enrolled with the Navajo Nation and I love to write. It’s my passion and I enjoy meeting new people each day. They have a story to tell.
I will be obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Journalism for print and a minor in American Indian Studies at Arizona State University. I’ve had an adventure learning magazine, sports, photography, video, newspaper and in-depth reporting.
I’ve had the privilege of working side-by-side with professionals of KPHO.com, Arcadia News, Cronkite Magazine, Navajo Times and Kayenta Township.
I enjoy what I do. Journalism is a non-ending learning experience.

My passion is photojournalism. I was a full time photographer for the State Press my freshman year and have been taking photo-realted courses throughout the rest of my years at ASU.

-

Last summer I interned with Magna International, an automotive supplier, in Michigan. I used the studio to photograph employees, visitors, car seats, and other various car parts. I edited photos for company catalogs, badges, and passports.

With my degree I hope to travel the world to learn and expand my thinking as well as the thinking of others.
